Save the Date

The amazing skills of Amber Bare were used to create this "Save the Date" card. Im really happy with it!

Life as I know it

Life right now has been a bit crazy. I am taking a lot of credits here at BYU Idaho, each class being an upper division course. Ive never had to work in school to earn a good grade, this semester however has been a new experience, full of frustration and growth. I keep telling myself that good grades are more important than a beautiful reception.

Weddings-

There is another reason why we are encouraged to only do them once... The bride nearly goes crazy. The amount of opinions flying at me from every angle is ridiculous. Trying to make everyone happy as well as retain the image of my wedding that i have had planned since i was a little girl has become quite the task.

My Mom and Dad have been troopers. Lately they have spent their time going through address books, telephone books, and stake directories trying to acquire all the addresses necessary for bridal showers, save the dates, and the announcements. We got the "save the dates" sent out! I know it might sound like a small task, but to us it was a big feat.

I need to take a moment and thank my beautiful friend COURTNEY EARL! She has been amazing through this whole process. Anything that I put by her she is totally supportive of. Currently she is sending out invites to the huge bridal shower she is throwing for me. I couldn't ask for a better friend! She has been by my side since nursery and I'm so glad she will be right there with me on my wedding day as my Maid of Honor.

I have decided upon my wedding cake! Its going to be super yummy, no fondant. And I cannot leave out the point that my dress came a while back. And it is absolutely perfect! I don't think there is going to be any need for alterations, which is a sigh of relief.

Another key player in this planning process has been Amber Bare (Nick's sister-in-law). Without her talent and support I would not be able to pull this off. She helped us design our "Save the Dates" and this weekend will help me design our Announcements. Her style is a lot like mine. She also helped me find everything that I am going to need for the temple. Without her I would have ended up with way wrong sizes and probably forgot a few things without even realizing it.

There is still much to do and so little time to do it. We will be getting married August 7th in the Columbia River Temple in Richland Washington. The excitement is building as well as the stress, but I have a great team helping me through it.
